Fuel prices continue to rise, petrol costs Rs 87.82 per litre in Mumbai

New Delhi: Fuel costs continued  to soar on Thursday, with hydrocarbon and diesel rates being hiked by ten paise and twenty seven paise severally in urban center.

After the revision, hydrocarbon is being sold-out at Rs eighty two.36 per metric capacity unit, whereas diesel rates have escalated to Rs seventy four.62 within the metropolis.

In Mumbai, hydrocarbon and diesel rates were hiked by nine paise and twenty nine paise every. hydrocarbon is retailed at Rs eighty seven.82 and diesel is sold-out at Rs seventy eight.22.

Fuel costs are witnessing a steep rise since the past few months. whereas the Opposition has repeatedly goddamn the union government for not doing enough to stay a check on costs, the latter has maintained that world fossil fuel costs and alternative international factors ar inflicting a hike in costs of rock oil merchandise.

On Oct four, the union government had proclaimed a cut of Rs two.50 per metric capacity unit on each hydrocarbon and diesel costs once edge excise duty on the artifact by Rs one.50 per metric capacity unit.
