Donald Trump gets into ugly fight with reporter

S President Donald Trump got into a tense and charged verbal argument with a journalist last night that semiconductor diode to the reporter's press credentials being suspended.

The exchange marked a brand new low for Trump's relationship with journalists, that has for the most part been hostile.

Trump was addressing a news conference in Washington, DC, wherever the US president was to talk on the country's mid-term elections. Trump's party managed to stay its majority within the Senate however lost management of the House of Representatives.

The news conference, that at first targeted on easy political topics, quickly descended into chaos once Trump was asked regarding his politics and also the controversial  issue of Russia meddling within the US's 2016 presidential election (the same election that place Trump within the White Hosue).

CNN newsperson Jim Acosta asked Trump why he had targeted on migrants in his campaign leading up to the mid-term elections.

When another journalist tried to talk up in Acosta's defence, Trump told the second reporter: "I'm not a giant fan of yours, either."
